Since the last post my days have been full, mainly with the arrangement and the production of a new electro album. Gilles Boucomont recreated the Reform Psalter, using our contemporary codes. During the Reform, Calvin commissioned the best poets and composers of his time. There is not yet a release date for this new opus.
I had several concerts with Kay, and it was the occasion to meet lots of talented Parisians musicians (David Georgelet, Alexandre Perrot, Martin Wangermée, Matthieu Bloch, Adam Over, Olivier Bogé…)
In May I had the joy of playing with Denise King and with Karim Blal, Tony Match and Mauro Gargano. Denise, who’s from Philly, has a big talent for creating a generous and joyful relationship with the audience. It was a great concert. Now I’m preparing for our big move to the United States this summer, and next year I’ll be settled in Princeton, between NY and Philly. In the mean time, this June I’ll attend an intensive week of training on movie composition, and then go on tour in Corsica with Breezin’ during the summer (I’m covering for my friend Philippe Dardel who is out with an injury).
Cheers !
